Pastor Pierri is the founding Pastor of Light of the World Church.  Since the church began in 1999, the ministry has experienced extraordinary and continual growth…both in numbers and in the hearts of its members.  Prior to his calling to ministry, Pastor Pierri had a successful career in counseling and holds several graduate and undergraduate degrees and certifications.  After his call to serve Christ, he left his profession and served for years as a staff minister of a local church.  In addition to his pastoral duties at Light of the World Church, Pastor Pierri’s ministry has extended to teaching and speaking at Mt. Zion School of Ministry in Grantville, PA, at Mt. Hope Camp in Oxford, NJ, and at Times Square Church in NYC.  He enjoys playing guitar and being with his family.  He has three children, Melissa, Heather, and David, and two sons-in-law, Rob and Jarrod.  He is also blessed with two beautiful granddaughters, Samantha and Olivia.

Born in Ghana, Dr. Darko has several years experience as a minister of the Gospel and later as an academic. He previously served in ministry capacities as a Director in Youth for Christ, University/Seminary chaplain and local church pastor in Ghana, Croatia, England and the United States.  His pastoral and theological training include a Master of Arts from the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies/University of Leeds, Master of Theology from the Evangelical Theological Seminary (Osijek) and Doctor of Philosophy from King’s College, University of London.  Daniel teaches Biblical Studies at the University of Scranton.  He is the President of Africa Potential Inc.  and the author of No Longer Living as the Gentiles: Differentiation and Shared Ethical Values in Ephesians 4.17 - 6.9. Though a theologian, he enjoys reading business management, leadership and communication. He is married to Maryl and they have two children, Esther and Debbie. His philosophy of ministry is well summarized in the words of Paul - "For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus' sake." 2 Cor. 4:5.

 

 

Matt is the elder responsible for the following ministries: Ushers, Alter Workers, Communion, Outreach Truck, His Hands (Meal Ministry), and Evangelism.

Tom is the Elder responsible for Missions, Needs & Seeds, Single Mothers, Prison Ministry, Ex-Offenders, and Food/Clothing Outreach.

Ray's responsibilities as an Elder includes the oversight of Youth Ministry, Jr. Youth, Young Adults, Men's & Women's Prayer, Men's & Women's Ministries, and Drama.

Bob is the Elder responsible for overseeing Children's Ministries, True Vine Outreach, Intercessory Prayer, Book Center, Media Ministry, Transportation, Housekeeping, Music Ministry, and Sound Systems.

Bob Morales is also temporarily overseeing Senior Ministry, Nursing Home, Visitation, Words of Worship, Christian Education, Welcome Center, and Greeting.
